An Interactive Forum for Stage 1 and 2 Drama Teachers (PLATO)

DSA PLATO and BEYOND

IF you are you a stage 2 drama teacher who would

like the chance to collaborate and get answers to

queries face to face? If you would like a chance to

clarify the course and assessment standards?

Or perhaps you are a country or inexperienced

teacher who’d like some extra input then this day is

for you!

You also get the chance to view tasks beyond the

current PLATO and get input on it.

Please note the PLATO course is different this year.

Working in collaborative groups with a mix of experience, teachers will

together complete PLATO, putting in your own answers using the

standards, and then discussing and asking any questions of the SACE

officers present. There is now an exemplar of an acting benchmark from

group performance with faces revealed. This will need discussion and

input.

Finish the PLATO then discuss approaches to text and innovator studies.

Collation of ideas will be sent out to attendees.
