For the past three years, Drama SA has collaborated with other arts associations to present a Primary Combined Arts Conference in Term 1. This provides teachers with unit plans in Music, Dance and Drama as well as choir resources and techniques. Judy Hanel presented the unit “The Aliens are Coming!” drama unit which used process drama conventions to develop both an understanding of the drama elements as well as expressive skills and culminated in a performance. Judy recreated this unit of work with teachers, demonstrating how simple classroom drama activities can be used to build a performance.

The Senior Drama Forum is our annual professional learning event for SACE Drama Teachers, providing the opportunity to reflect, network and develop new insights into delivering Stage 1 and Stage 2 Drama.
