Join us for an Interactive and practical workshop focussing on the relevance of Commedia dell’ Arte to young people in Australia today. The workshop aims to provide teachers with ideas for engaging students in Commedia through contemporary modes. The workshop will be a combination of both practical and theoretical. Participants will learn the basic postures and walks of some of the main characters, learn the fundamentals of commedia to assist in the development of Lazzi and Canovacci and work together to build a framework for teaching Commedia in a contemporary context.
