So you have completed your teaching training and got your first drama teaching role! Great. Are you ready to teach your first term!?

Becoming a Drama Teacher - through Commedia dell ’Arte. This workshop will chart a drama teachers’ journey and start to uncover the realities and complexities of being a drama teacher through the development of a unit of work on Commedia dell ’Arte including:

  • planning and teaching a unit of work

  • inclusion and how to engage all students

  • performance

  • writing formative and summative assessment. 

This workshop is suitable for all Drama Pre-Service teachers across all States and Territories and has been planned by Karen Inwood, Lecturer in Arts Education at UniSA in consultation with Drama SA Pre-Service teacher members. The workshop will align with the Australian Curriculum - Drama - Years 7-9. 

Join us for this online Zoom workshop on Friday 23 October - 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
